The first gameplay video of Mass Effect 2‘s upcoming “Arrival” downloadable content, available this Tuesday, has hit the net by way of GameSpot’s Daily Demo.

In it, we see Commander Shepard rescuing a doctor whose been kidnapped after discovering a Reaper artifact. There’s some dialogue, but the majority of the clip is all gameplay. As previously detailed, Shepard goes in solo on this mission.

Check out the clip below.

I seriously don’t like DLCs…the games are becoming shorter and to be honest worse, and then we are treated a DLC or two.

The original idea seemed great, but now it seems like developers sell us unfinished game, and then kindly sell us the rest of the content.

I have a love/hate relationship with DLC, some of it is genuine ( Castlevania upcoming DLC)and some of it had it stayed in the game would have just dragged on creating a long annoying game down, but as DLC it expands the universe.

But, as for the games that are super super short and the DLC is accounced damn near a day after the game is released is pure bullshit, especially when the game is only 8 hours and the DLC adds little to nothing.

Eh, I won’t even get started on the pricing…but, as for M.E. 2 I don’t mind DLC, since it is well over a year old, maybe not for PS3 but, ya know.
