Rumor: Ubisoft survey outs NGP pricing

Yesterday, research firm Toluna conducted a survey in partnership with Ubisoft titled “Ubisoft – NGP concept – US Adults”. The survey makes direct reference to the price of the console, saying that “the retail price of the [3G] Sony NGP is expected to be around $350,” and that the version without 3G should go for around $250.

The numbers sound around what many of us where expecting, although I would’ve thought the 3G version would only be $50 or so greater than the standard platform. We can only wait on an official pricing announcement from Sony.

    Non-3G for 250? That’s exactly the price I was looking for… that’s just weird… and completely unlike Sony haha. Hoping for that 249.99 sweet spot so I can be comfortable buying it on launch day.

    Whoa! Serious. That’s an awesome price, if true.

    If the price is set at 350, then it’s “Game on, 3DS!”.
    A far more competitive price than I expected..
