Hideo Kojima promoted to Konami corporate officer

Effective April 1, 2011, Kojima Productions boss and Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima will take on a new role at Konami. Both Kojima and Pro Evolution Soccer direct Shinji Enomoto have been promoted to vice president and corporate officer at Konami.

We’re sure this promotion will have no effect on Kojima’s current developments, like his NGP title, Metal Gear Solid 5, or those two games he’s rumored to announce at E3.
