Beyond Good & Evil HD, released as part of Xbox LIVE Arcade’s “House Party” promotion earlier this month will see release on PlayStation Network in May, Ubisoft’s confirmed.

The high-definition upgrade of the PS2 classic features updated visuals, updated audio, trophies, and “the same type of care [creator] Michel Ancel and his team had when they designed the original game.”

Additionally, Ubisoft will give away two free PlayStation Network avatars for those who purchase the game within the first two weeks of release, which depict protagonists Jade and Pey’j. See those below.

Finally, a new trailer dedicated solely to the PlayStation Network version of the game can be seen below:

Ubisoft, you traitor us. But look now, trying to get back our trust. Well give me the game and fuck off. And keep your free avatar thanks.
