Yakuza: Of the End: Partner System and Kamurocho Underground detailed
Our latest update on Yakuza: Of the End comes with plenty of screenshots to eyeball. Sega‘s let out new details on the Partner System, Gary’s Boot Camp, and Kamurocho Underground.
In Of the End, players can recruit allies encountered in Kamurocho to join their team and fight alongside you. In order to recruit a partner character, you’ll have to clear their sub-story. Each character has access to a different set of sub-stories. Once a sub-story is cleared, however, any of the four characters can team up with that partner.
In the screenshots, we see Kazuma team up with fan favorite characters like Kazuto Arase and Makoto Date, who are available as partners in the game. Hostesses can also be recruited as partners. They’re pretty good with firearms, if the screenshots are any method of judgement.
Gary’s Boot Camp is one of Of the End‘s many “play spots.” Gray Buster Holmes, whose appeared in previous Yakuza titles, runs the camp where player can play Shooting Range and Field Combat. One has you practicing your sharp shooting; the other has you running through the fields, killing zombies..
Kamurocho Underground is a set of dungeons that players can access via a special manhole. The dungeon, judging by the screenshots, feature multiple levels (there’s a B2 in one of the shots). It’ll have you going through countless zombies, earning experience points and items, and ultimately reaching a boss. You’ll also learn the reason why there’s a dungeon underneath Kamurocho.
