Yakuza: Of the End: new trailers, celebrity appearances

New footage and details for Yakuza: Of the End have been released today. One trailer dedicates itself to the story, while the other breaks down the game’s gameplay elements.

In the story trailer, Akiyama’s secretary Hana reveals that the zombies players fight against in the game are actually man-made. Construction of the wall that closes off the zombie-infested Kamurocho is also seen.

The gameplay trailer is divided into four parts: field, battle, adventure and play spots. You’ll see the game’s weapon upgrade system, its variety of weapons (flamethrower, chainsaw, a bicycle) and even the appearance of celebrity zombies.

Celebrities announced to appear in the game are Epser Ito, David Ito, and Terry Ito — three of Japan’s biggest comedians. Screenshots of them in zombie form can be seen at the gallery.
