Rumor: Green Goblin set for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 [Update]

Looks like one of Capcom’s new character reveals for tomorrow’s Marvel vs. Capcom 3 CES event leaked out early. And he’s green.

Posted by a NeoGAF member, it’s hard to deny the validity of these leaked images. Though blurry, they clearly show Spider-Man nemesis Green Goblin, drawn and rendered in Marvel vs. Capcom 3‘s style, on a random television set.

We expect he’ll be confirmed tomorrow, so until he is, we’ll mark this as a rumor.

Update 6:24pm: It’s fake. But a damned good fake. The art was taken from this comic strip. Why must people be so mean?

    Nope Sal, this is most likely a fake.
    He used that same pose in a comic.

      i don’t think he needs to close this thread, since it is rumored news really. for capcom characters im expecting Juri, Gene, Vergil, Strider, Seig, and Samanouske :)
