Killzone 3 to include SOCOM 4 beta

Shooting fans could look forward to two experiences when they purchase their copy of Killzone 3 next month. Sony’s announced that specially-marked copies of Killzone 3 (see above) will grant players access to the SOCOM 4 multiplayer beta.

Inside the box will be a redemption code, which you can redeem on the PlayStation Store as soon as the SOCOM 4 beta goes live. Details on the beta will arrive in the “near future.”

Just another reason to buy Killzone 3, it seems.

    Killzone 3 will be awesome, it’s going to be the best FPS ever. I will be playing this game with my PS Move and 3D TV when it comes out. Any one got this game on order or got the Move Gun?

    It says “specially marked” boxes meaning this will be more like a hunt for the Golden Ticket (Willy Wonka reference if no one got that) rather than just picking up a random copy.

    Still, it’s a nice promotion and will hopefully spark some sales.
