If you were hoping to test out Bethesda and id Software‘s upcoming FPS–RPG hybrid, RAGE, before it launches this September, you’ll be severely disappointed.
“It’s something we look at for every game and we do it where possible and where appropriate,” Bethesda PR VP, Pete Hines, told VG247 today.
“But to be perfectly honest, from a technical standpoint, it isn’t always possible. I don’t see a demo for RAGE on the cards.”
Hines added that while nothing’s been officially decided, the cards are leaning more towards unlikely.
“I guess it’s not a zero percent chance, but it’s somewhere down on that end of the spectrum.”
RAGE launches for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on September 13, 2011.
