You’ll soon be able to keep your PlayStation 3 saves in an online “cloud”, according to a Kotaku rumor.
Apparently coming as part of the 3.60 firmware update, Sony’s calling the feature “Online Saving”. It allows users to upload their save files, which are tied to their PlayStation Network accounts, to a server run by Sony, and allows them to access the saves on any other PlayStation 3.
There’s a catch, though. The feature will only be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
We’ll have more on this as it develops. Stay tuned.
