Rumor: Is this Battlefield 3?
A supposedly leaked screenshot of Battlefield 3 has surfaced online tonight. The image comes by way of BF3Blog, who claim it was sent in by a Swede who goes by the name of Doe. According to him, the image was taken at the home of one of the DICE developers in Stockholm, Sweden.
The image’s EXIF data reveals the picture was taken on December 5 — only two days ago.
That’s about it. I’m not too big on Battlefield, so I can’t really analyze it and tell you what looks genuine. BF3Blog’s analysis, however, is pretty much summed up as: “It’s most similar to Battlefield 2, rather than the recent Bad Company games.”
Thoughts, Battlefield fans?

Already!!! What can possibly motivate people to purchase BF3? It’s not like it’s been 2 years since the last game.
At least Insomniac was smart in delaying Resistance 3 for a bit to really make the game stand out but BF is starting to follow the Call of Duty trend which is seemingly following the annual sports game trend.
EA have expressly stated that they’re trying to “beat Call of Duty.” That’s their goal here; to dethrone the current most popular shooter so that they can have the whole market demographic to themselves. It’s very clear that the main motivation for all this is just money. Call of Duty has shown that it doesn’t matter how good or bad the game is; as long as it sells. So EA’s tactic is to make a game that’s “better than Call of Duty,” and then to make it again and again and again…
The big corporations are always so confused when a successful franchise suddenly goes down the toilet. They refuse to even consider the idea that it’s the business model that’s at fault, not necessarily the games themselves.
Battlefield games have always came out like Call of Duty. There was one last year, the year before, that, before that, and so on. There is no difference in release dates but there is a huge difference is the games. Battlefield 3 would be completely different than Bad Company.
Better not be frostbite or ill be pissed.
maybe its battlefield play for free?
