Final VGA zombie poster image released
by [@salromano] at 11:23 AM EDT, December 2, 2010 .

Video Game Awards show host Geoff Keighley has released the final zombie game poster — which we now know is Resident Evil — through Facebook today. He actually posted up another 2D barcode, which decodes to this mobile link with the image.

Reproduced above (click for 1080p res), the image contains the text: “We’re here to help.” Under it: “Don’t ever leave the green zone!” Under that: “All persons are forbidden to enter or leave any zones without the permission of the chief health officer under penalty of the law.” To the left, under that: “Murder Your Maker.”

There’s the confusing bit. We know these posters are for a new Resident Evil, but we also know that the “Murder Your Maker” bit is for a new Activision game. So what are they both doing in the same image? Only next weekend will tell!

It is “Don’t ever leave the green zone” not “Don’t ever leave me in the green zone”, isn’t it?

apparently if the game is called “murder your maker” you’re a zombie and you have to eliminate the human race? or you will be a cross between zombie and human against the corporation that created you? if so the game seems interesting.

  4. Doubt it will be a Resident Evil 6 but will use the brand name. I just hope its not the handheld title rumored for the PSP and what is in development for the 3DS.
