Disgaea 4 gets 69 new screenshots
Nippon Ichi Software has released another large batch of screenshots for Disgaea 4 today. In them, we get a look at some new enemy types such as the pink robot-esque characters seen in the shot above.
The game, a strategy role-playing game, features both a single-player campaign and network play. It follows the story of Valbatoze, a former tyrant vampire who aims to take control of the Netherworld. It’s out February in Japan in in Summer 2011 in North America.

and no word about an European release?
I don’t believe Tecmo Koei, which distributes NIS’s games in Europe, have said anything yet.

I think there was some deal or something that was signed after Disgaea 3 released — between NIS and Tecmo Koei. I’d have to look into it, but the evidence is all here:

Meh I’m done with this franchise. I feel like they could’ve done this on the PSP.
Couldn’t disagree with you more, lately there have been far too many main titles going over to the handhelds. handhelds have always been and will always be the “spinoff” console to me. That being said they might port it over to the PSP like they did with Disgaea 2.
