Behind the scenes of the Uncharted 3 reveal trailer
You’ve seen the trailer, now see how it was made. Last night, Naughty Dog unveiled Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception at the Video Game Awards in Los Angeles. A new clip released today brings us into the studio of Naughty Dog, where the team talks the pressure of creating the teaser, the pressure of creating a better game, dives into the motion capture creation of the clip, and shows us Nolan North at work.
The whole thing is a really interesting watch. Check it out.
Note: At 1:33, there looks to be a small second or two of gameplay, unless that’s Uncharted 2. It’s a bit blurry, so it’s hard to tell.

Brilliant video. I always enjoy these behind the scenes videos, it’s nice to hear the developers speak and see how the trailer was made.

Downloaded this from the PSN Store (on the dedicated U3 page) and it was great but too short. But then again I’m just greedy for any and all information on U3.
I remember talking about U3 with a co-worker weeks ago (before we knew anything) and recall saying that I didn’t care how long Naughty Dog took to make the next game. Well, I lied. I don’t know how in the world I’m gonna hold out for another 11 months.
Good thing there are a rash of great games coming in 2011. Killzone 3, inFamous 2, Journey, The Last Guardian, SOCOM 4, Resistance 3, Arkham City, Marvel vs Capcom 3 and others should be enough to lose myself in until the end of the year.

Speaking of U3 on PSN, I got an e-mail from Sony with a voucher code for an avatar. Didn’t work. And I don’t want to pay $0.49 for it.
