Rumor: Uncharted 3 set in the desert?
Nathan Drake’s going to the desert, according to an “informed source” of Kotaku‘s. Uncharted 3, which the source said will be revealed around the SpikeTV Video Game Awards on December 11, will be set in a land of sun and sand.
That’s about it, really. If Drake were to head to the desert, Indiana Jones wouldn’t have anything left on him. Makes perfect sense on Naughty Dog’s end, when you think about it.
Sony’s set to reveal a new PS3 exclusive on December 12. Looks like we’ll see what happens officially during the Video Game Awards, which airs in less than two weeks. Stay tuned.

awww man i was expecting ZOE3 but unlikely.
still can’t wait for U3, please make the Singleplayer last up to 15-20 hours, if RE4 can do it why not U3 as well. oh remove the regenerative health(unlikely) and make the multiplayer class based, i want some medics soldier class and so on :D
ZOE3 would’ve been great, but…. it’s the VGAs, man. Japanese reveals don’t happen.

It sounds perfectly possible, a change of climate like with Uncharted 2′s Tibetan scenes etc. The desert sounds interesting for gameplay – perhaps being blinded by sandstorms or problems to do with the heat?
