Hulu Plus available next week for PS3
by [@salromano] at 11:42 AM EDT, November 4, 2010 .

Sony’s announced that Hulu Plus, currently only available invitation-only to PlayStation Plus subscribers, will go public next week, opening itself to all PlayStation 3 users.

Hulu Plus, announced in June, is a streaming service that offers subscribers the full current season runs of major television programs — including shows like House, Lost and Family Guy. A subscription to the service costs $9.99 a month.

PlayStation 3 is the only gaming console scheduled to receive Hulu Plus in 2010. Xbox 360 users will unfortunately have to wait it out until Q1 2011.

    • Sure it does. Here’s the thing: Hulu is not a part of Sony. Xbox LIVE Gold users will have to pay $9.99 a month, too, when it reaches the system. Cool thing about it is that you’ll pay $9.99 but be able to access it from your iPhone, PS3, 360, and whatever other devices Hulu Plus supports.
