Activision’s announced a new X-Men title today. However, rather than place you in the boots of Wolverine or any of the series’ other signature characters, you’ll instead control “new mutant recruits” in what’s described as a “rich, branching storyline” featuring “deep” choice elements and “ultimate control” over the player’s destiny.

Those attending the New York City Comic-Con this week can catch a sneak peek at Activision’s booth. We’ll be there, camera ready (if it’s allowed, of course), to grab coverage. There will be a panel on the game’s storyline on Saturday at 10:45am in Room 1A06, as well.
