Daniel Taylor, who voices the role of Leonard in Sony Computer Entertainment’s White Knight Chronicles, has made an interesting update to his resume, recently.
While White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness has been out in Japan since early July, Sony’s yet to say anything about a western release date, causing many to fear it won’t arrive at all. No need to fear, though, as Taylor’s resume lists voice-over work done for both “The White Chronicles 1&2“.
We’ll contact Sony to see what they make of this. Stay tuned.

Update: We’ve received a response. It’s pretty much the usual, though. In short, it translates to ‘no comment’.
“We can’t confirm anything with White Knight Chronicles 2,” a Sony rep has told us. “Unfortunately we have not issued any news or made any announcements to date.”

I only played the original WKC a few months ago and I thought it was a very underrated, good RPG experience. I’d obviously love to play this sequel but I was beginning to lose hope in it. This looks a bit more promosing though. Hopefully anyway
oh PLEASE let it be true!. Being a fan of tokusatsu’s (Masked Rider, Super Sentai, etc) and RPGs, I went NUTS when I heard about the first game’s premise. And now in the sequel its got the whole first game along with the sequel and both having the new beefed up and faster paced battle system. Oh and also your avatar finally his or her OWN KNIGHT!
This SERIOUSLY better be coming west!!! WITH A JAPANESE VOICE TRACK OPTION!!
Did the first WKC come with an option to switch to Japanese voices?
It wasn’t something I ever checked, I loved the VA in WKC. Especially Charles Shaughnessy, damn he’s good. Makes me want to watch ‘The Nanny’ again and again.
I dont think it did. Then again I might be mistaken, I always just leave it in English if possible!
There wasn’t dual audio in the first sadly. I wanted to hear them shout Henshin XD But I have to admit ‘Verto’ was a really good choice instead of shouting out ‘TRANSFORM’ in english.
Not worth a repost or new article, but Daniel Taylor (voice of Leonard’s) front page of his homepage now mentions he worked on WKC 1 & 2.. (well, it may have been like this for sometime)
