The weapons of Sonic Free Riders
Sonic Free Riders doesn’t only allow players to move their bodies to decide which way their leaning and what path they’ll take, but players will even have to interact with weapons that they pick up during the race. A new clip released by Sega tonight shows just how it works.
Some of the weapons shown in the trailer include the soda rocket, golf tee, and bowling bowl. Each weapon has the player doing a different maneuver to activate its ability. Example: to activate the soda rocket, shake it like you would shake a soda to explode.

But I’ll reserve my judgement until I’m actually playing it. That sort of video is a bit too easy to fake how well it works.
But.. it looks good.
Beleive it or not this is one of the Kinect games I am actually looking forward too. I’m a fairly big Sonic fan and more importsntly, the game looks (from the videos anyway) like it plays well on Kinect. Only time will tell, of course.
