Prince of Persia Trilogy announced for PS3
by [@salromano] at 02:36 PM EDT, October 5, 2010 .

Confirming months of rumors, Ubisoft’s officially announced the Prince of Persia Trilogy today. The high-definition collection, only confirmed for a European release, will allow players to re-experience the series in 720p and in stereoscopic 3D.

It’ll include Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones together on one disc. It’ll ship to European retailers on November 19 for £29.99.

We’ve contacted Ubisoft regarding a North American release. We’re awaiting a response. As for now, check out the first three screenshots of the collection at the gallery.

Good news! Finally, the 3rd party companies are coming into the HD versions!
If this proves to be succesful, imagine how long it will take for big shots like Konami, Capcom, Square, etc. to bring some out to!

    MGS HD Collection anyone?
How about a Silent Hill Collection?

I hope this proves a sucsess for Ubisoft.

I’ll import it. Sands of Time is my personal favorite. Maybe at Square’s FNC event KH 1&2 HD will be announced.
