Pre-order Dead Space 2, get Dead Space Ignition free
EA’s announced a special pre-order bonus for Dead Space 2 this morning. Those who pre-order the game at “participating retailers” will receive a redemption code to download Dead Space Ignition free.
Dead Space Ignition is a downloadable prequel to Dead Space 2 set to hit PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade on October 12/13. In essence, it’s a comic-style story with three hacking games: Hardware Crach, Trace Route and System Override. There are four different endings the player can achieve. Players can also unlock exclusive content for Dead Space 2 in the game including a Hacker suit for Issac Clarke.
Those who don’t pre-order can get the game for $5 or 400 Microsoft Points when it releases tomorrow/Wednesday.

PS3 edition comes with Extraction?
Ok cool then its a must buy for every survival-horror fan like me!!!
Yes, the PS3 version is “Limited Edition” (think Dante’s Inferno) which includes Move-enabled Extraction. Dead Space 2 would be worth getting without the extras, but with Extraction included, it’s too good to pass up. I just hope the equipment and upgrades carry over to new difficulties instead of starting from scratch like in the first game.

There’s only a Limited Edition for PS3 — no regular edition. It costs the same price, though: $60.
