Is Remedy already working on Alan Wake 2?
Remedy Entertainment’s working on a new “AAA console project”, according to a recent job listing on Gamasutra. The ad lists Xbox 360 as the only console, however.
Remedy’s not necessarily a one-platform developer, unless they’re being backed, of course. You know what that means, right? What’s Remedy been talking about since before Alan Wake came out? If you said Alan Wake 2, you’d be correct.
For those interested in the job: Remedy’s seeking a Producer, Director and Project Manager. You’ll need a lot of dedication and at least five years of work experience. You’ll also need to be able to show up at their studio on site in Finland. Apply here, potential Remedy devs.

I really hope it is Alan Wake 2 (it has to be, right?). I loved the first game and was getting worried about it’s future after those doom and gloom stories a few months back about sales etc. However it looks like Remedy know that they have an excellent IP on their hands here, and are hard at work on the sequel. One can only hope, anyway!
It will be interesting to see how a sequel will play out too; without giving away spoilers the ending to the first game opened up the possibilites endlessly.
