Amazon leaks Dead Space 2 Collector’s Edition
Amazon’s done a no no and leaked an unannounced Collector’s Edition for Dead Space 2 tonight. While it was quickly removed, snapshots of the special edition were already downloaded and specs were jotted down.
According to Amazon, the Collector’s Edition will include:
- A copy of Dead Space 2.
- A replica Plasma Gun.
- The official soundtrack.
- An art book.
- Exclusive downloadable costume.
The Plasma Gun alone makes it a definite buy for me. We expect to hear an official announcement soon.

Something about the price?
I hope the plasma cutter is metal and crafted well – it can be a really great gadget. But it won’t be if they’ll make it a cheap, plastic toy.
If the price is right, I will definately pick up this version simply because of the Plasma gun collectible. Looks great!
I have the regular edition rendered for less than 50 when the game was first listed but I am going to cancel for this. I loved Dead Space too much to skip out on this edition I regret no ordering the limited edition of the first on EA’s website.
