Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell has officially announced their upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade title on last night’s episode of GameTrailers TV. Titled Hybrid, the game’s scheduled for release on the service in 2011.

The developer launched a website last week counting down to the game’s announcement.

Although we’ve only been shown a teaser trailer, it looks to be a shooter about a war between two factions: Paladin and Variant. The trailer clearly shows one faction’s feelings towards another, with the narrator’s father telling him that “God didn’t create hell, the Variants did,” as only a mere child.

The game’s official website is live, however, only contains the trailer you’ll watch below and a single log for both the Paladin and Variants. Be sure to check those out.
