Tokyo Game Show press conference schedule
by [@salromano] at 02:27 PM EDT, September 14, 2010 .

Holy crap. The Tokyo Game Show is this week, did you know? I’m certainly squealing like a girl a bit on the inside, although I’m not so sure about you. Let’s get prepared, then. As you know, there are a few press conferences that will be held during the show, each hopefully bringing us exciting new announcements. Mark them in your calendar, folks. They start tonight!

Microsoft – Xbox 360 Vision and Strategy 2010

When: 10:30am JST on September 16 / 9:30pm EST on September 15 – lasts an hour
Where: Convention Hall B(International Conference Hall 2F, Makuhari Messe)
Who: Microsoft Corporate Vice President Phil Spencer and Home & Entertainment Division General Manager Takashi Sensui.
What to expect: Microsoft hasn’t teased much for their Tokyo presser. All we know for certain is that we can expect the presence of new Kinect titles. Other than that, we’re clueless.

Live Blog: JoyStiq

Sony – Tokyo Game Show 2010 Press Conference

When: 1pm JST on September 16 / Midnight EST on September 16
Where: N/A
Who: N/A
What to expect: We’re not too sure on this one either. Perhaps they’ll show off some new third-party titles like Valkyria Chronicles 3. They do have at least one new PS3 title and one new PSP title that will be playable at their booth, so maybe we’ll hear from that, as well. Perhaps something on Versus XIII? A confirmation on the Team ICO Collection? Who knows but Sony?

Live Stream: PlayStation Japan

Kojima Productions – Special Stage

When: 1pm JST on September 16 / Midnight EST on September 16
Where: N/A
Who: Hideo Kojima, Kenichiro Imaizumi, Yumi Kikuchi, and Shigenobu Matsuyama.
What to expect: We have no clue. Kojima recently tweeted that this week is a good time to reveal a “secret”. Could it be the rumored PS3 exclusive that’ll steal the show? We’ll see.

Live Stream: UStream

EA – Tokyo Showcase 2010

When: 5pm JST on September 15 / 4am EST on September 15
Where: Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo
Who: N/A
What to expect:Several” new games, of course – one of them being Suda 51, Shinji Mikami, and Akira Yamaoka’s collaboration title.

Live Stream: EA

Capcom – TGS 2010 Press Conference

When: 8pm JST on September 15 / 7am EST on September 15
Where: N/A
Who: N/A
What to expect: Four new games. One of them most likely being Devil May Cry 5, one of the others hopefully being Mega Man Legends 3. Expect new Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters and more. Stay tuned.

Live Stream: N/A

Sega – Yakuza: Of the End Presentation

When: 12:30pm JST on September 16 / 11:30am EST on September 15 – lasts half an hour
Where: N/A
Who: Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi and this year’s seven hostesses.
What to expect: Expect gameplay of Yakuza: Of the End, story details, new gameplay elements, and all the stuff they like to talk about when revealing a new game at its very own conference.

Live Stream: Sega

Sega – Valkyria Chronicles 3 Presentation

When: 2pm JST on September 16 / 1am EST on September 16 – lasts half an hour
Where: N/A
Who: N/A
What to expect: Valkyria Chronicles 3, of course. The only debacle now is what platform it’ll appear on. PlayStation 3 or PSP?

Live Stream: Sega

Wait, weren’t Sega meant to be live streaming too, or was it just Sony? I may be just been stupid here, so feel free to ignore me.

I’m also ‘squealing like a girl’ about the TGS too, just can’t wait to see what’s shown and what’s not. It’s a shame a lot of them don’t seem to be streaming live, or are in the middle of the night GMT if they are; I would like to have seen them.

Anyway, I’m really hyped to see what’s gonna be first shown tommorow. I’m in half a mind to be up at 2am to catch the MS news come in; but I’d never get up in time for work! ^^

    • No, no, you’re right.

That was overlooked on my end. I’ll go ahead and update the post. Thanks for letting me know. =]

  5. Guys, I got a little mixed up with the times – dates mainly. Some said the 15 where it was supposed to say the 16. My apologies for that. I’ve gone ahead and fixed it.

    • Both, obviously — even though the cross of audio will probably make it difficult to listen to what they’re saying.
