Sakai teases unannounced Phantasy Star Online project
by [@salromano] at 02:06 PM EDT, September 7, 2010 .

Satoshi Sakai, Art Director on many Phantasy Star Online titles, is teasing an unannounced Phantasy Star Online project in development.

Speaking to Dengeki PlayStation, Sakai said that the recent announcement of Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity for PSP is “not the only Phantasy Star Online 10th anniversary project” in the works.

The Tokyo Game Show is just around the corner. It’s set to begin in a little over a week from today on September 16. Are we finally in the position for a high-definition Phantasy Star Online? We’ll find out soon enough.

Could it actually be a next gen PSO? On the PS3? It would shock me, considering Universe didn’t do so hot.

  3. This would make a great TGS announcement if it were an HD title. Speaking of TGS announcements, look forward to an editorial we’ll be publishing sometime later tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on whatever timing we find suitable.

It’s all about this year’s TGS. You’ll find plenty of things to get excited for in there.

This is really interesting, PSO in my opinion was alot better than PSU and I was dissapointed when they took down Blue Burst.
