With Red Dead Redemption enjoying great success, it looks like Rockstar San Diego may already be behind the scenes creating the next epic in the series.

According an employee of a services provider working on some early technical work for the game, it’ll be known as Red Dead Revolution. Although after this comment was mistakenly made, the employee brushed it off and pretended nothing had happened.

We can’t be sure if it’s true, but it certainly does fit in with the franchise’s naming technique. The first game, released in 2004, was titled Red Dead Revolver. The second, which we just received this year, was Red Dead Redemption. So if there were to be a third game, Red Dead Revolution sounds just about right.
