New Gran Turismo 5 screens include weather, profiles
A huge set of images for Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 5, set to hit shelves on November 2 for PS3, have come out of the Tokyo Game Show this morning. In the set, we see images depicting various different angles for a few different car models, a look at rainy weather, and a first glance at the “My Home” portal, which looks to be something like Facebook for Gran Turismo 5 players.
The “My Home” image has options for the players GT Life, Profile, and Community. The profile submenu features a sublist with the ability to message the player, mail them, read their log, or send them a gift. You can even write on their wall. Talk about social racing!
