Earth Defense Force returns in 2011

Earth Defense Force 2017, a Xbox 360 game released in 2007 known for its explicitly fun gameplay (although, many would argue that it is in fact a bad game – but fun is fun, right?), is getting a sequel. Sighted at the GameStop Managers Conference, a banner for the sequel reveals it’s set to arrive sometime in 2011.

Heading to this link brings you to the game’s official website where the title, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, is revealed. Although, other than the logo and an ESRB Rating Pending image, nothing else is to be found on the site.
