Capcom and Ninja Theory announce DMC

The biggest surprise of Capcom’s TGS presser has finally been announced (okay, it’s not surprising). Ninja Theory has taken the stage to announce DMC, the long rumored game in production at the Cambridge-based studio.
Capcom describes the newly announced game as a “rebirth” of the franchise. Players take control a younger Dante. Music, culture, street art, etc. in the game will all be of the younger generation. The game is a big collaboration between east and west. Capcom’s Hideaki Itsuno is supervising director while Nina Theory’s Alex Jones is producing.
No release date yet. Stay tuned.
Thanks, JoyStiq.

So is it Dmc5 or not? Lol
this sounds interesting i only played a little bit of dmc4 but would injoy this alot plus it will have trophies = )
PLEASE tell me this was just the pre Tgs announcements. This DMC business is looking “meh”
By the sound of it, it’s DMC1, like rebooted.. WTF?
Nice! I’m looking forward to this, somehow I get a good feeling from it
Silent Hill :westernized
Castlevania : westernized
Final Fantasy : westernized *soon to be
Devil May Cry : westernized
Resident Evil : westernized *soon to be
Ace Combat : westernized
i mean even though the above games were actually good, homecoming and shattered memories are good, lords of shadow and silent hill 8 looks promising but the thing is why didn’t they made it a different IP? those above game have zero relevance to the original series. especially silent hill and castlevania. i think it would have been fine if they were in a different game instead of using the franchise’s name just to garner some attention.
oh well i really hate this new DMC though im still hoping DMC 5 with the “Real” Dante not this emo punk shit. hopefully capcom hasn’t forgotten the original series, along with Onimusha. damn it it should have been a new Onimusha(not a reboot)
