Beyond Good & Evil HD announced

Ubisoft’s announced this morning that an HD version of Beyond Good & Evil is set to release next year for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade.
The high-definition upgrade will receive 1080p visuals, makeovers for the character models, polished textures, a remastered soundtrack, online leaderboards and of course, a full set of achievements/trophies.
Ubisoft has yet to set an exact date — all we know is that it’ll hit early next year. Unfortunately, Ubisoft didn’t provide an update on the status of Beyond Good & Evil 2 with this announcement. Last we heard, though, was that it’s still well underway.
Thanks, IGN and Worthplaying.

I got violently stuck in the original game and never got a chance to finish it but what I did play through was a blast.
Arguably the most underrated game ever. As long as it’s not over $25 I’ll be downloading this puppy immediately when it becomes available.
