Portal 2‘s finally been given a release date at Gamescom. After delaying the game from its original fall 2010 release date to a vague early 2011, Valve’s announced that the game will launch in North America and Europe on February 9, 2011.

The game’s scheduled to launch across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The PlayStation 3 version of the game will support Steamworks, which Valve co-founder and managing director Gabe Newell says makes it the “best version on any console”.
