Namco’s released fifteen screenshots and three new videos of Splatterhouse as a part of their Gamescom showing today. As you may have expected, its full of violent tearing, stomping, cracking and shredding. Blood, too, of course.

The game, due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 26, tells the story of the original Splatterhouse, minus some minor changes. You’ll play as Rick trying to rescue his girlfriend Jennifer from Dr. West, their teacher who’s kidnapped her. With the help of the mask, Rick becomes the totally bad ass monster you see in today’s media.
