New inFAMOUS 2 gameplay has Cole kicking ass
A little late, we admit, but here it is nonetheless. Some new gameplay of inFAMOUS 2 has come out of Gamescom this week. The show’s technically over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy this clip of Cole kicking ass and taking names.
This is kind of like the gameplay we first saw debut on GameTrailers TV, rather this time with a lot more depth and sights to be seen. Check it out below.

Whoa!
I’m diggin’ all of that…except for Cole’s voice. When I first saw the new character I thought it was too far of a departure but I eventually grew to accept it. When they changed back I welcomed back the old Cole but if they reverted back to the old look of Cole because of fan reaction why didn’t they go back to the old Cole voice?
I can only assume it would cost too much to go back and re-record all the dialog but if they’re going to make changes for the fans they need to go all out.
Hopefully enough fans will see this footage and spur enough outcry that will force them to get the original actor back into the studio. Either that or find a way to drop the octave on the current actor’s voice.
As for the gameplay, it’s clear they played Uncharted 2 ’cause it’s WAY more cinematic than the first.
I agree with everything including the voice. Of course that won’t stop me from buying it and spending countless hours destroying everything in sight. Once I get that vortex everyone will suffer. I have already decided playing through the first time being evil is gonna be the way to go.
