Kojima teasing “big announcement” for the weekend
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima posted a mysterious tweet this morning, hinting at a “big announcement” that’s soon to come.
“Typhoon 4. It looks like it won’t have an effect on the weekend,” Kojima wrote in a Twitter update. “Thank goodness! However, my health is bad. Prior to TGS, we’ll have a big announcement (?) on Saturday or Sunday, so I must recover.”
In a follow-up tweet, he wrote: “Zone of the Enders 3 and so forth — it’s not that big an announcement. However, I think you will be happy.”
Kojima doesn’t necessarily seem to make it clear whether he’ll be making the announcement this weekend or the weekend prior to the Tokyo Game Show in September.

At this point it could be anything. There was a rumor during E3 that Hideo Kojima was going to announce some big PS3 exclusive during TGS. It was said to be “just a rumor” by a Kojima Pro dev but who really knows for sure?
