Hard Corps: Uprising – Gamescom screenshots
New screenshots of Hard Corps: Uprising, Konami’s latest Contra title that’s not actually a Contra title, have been sent out by the publisher during Gamescom. As you’ll notice by its anime-type style, it’s not your average side-scrolling shooter. Nope. BlazBlue developer Aksys Games is at its helm, prepping it for a downloadable release sometime this year.

I know this is an old post, but this game is my most anticipated PSN & XBLA game ever, I still play Contra: Hard Corps on my Genesis to this day. Contra: Shattered Soldier will go down as the best PS2 game I ever played, shame about NeoContra, was nowhere near as entertaining as Shattered Soldier.
