With the Dance Dance Revolution PS3 launch party being held tonight in California, Konami’s sent out details on just what we can expect when the game ships this fall. Highlights include PlayStation Move-compatibility, new game modes, higher difficulty levels, better graphics, and recording gameplay.

Using the PlayStation Move, PlayStation eye, and the dance mat, players will be able to use both their hands and feet at the same time while watching themselves play on camera. Players can record the songs that they’re playing and upload it online to various social networks. Players can also upload it to YouTube or Facebook through the Video Editor and Uploader built into the PlayStation 3′s XMB.

The game will have 25 new songs from Konami’s music team and 20 licensed tracks. More songs can be purchased over the PlayStation Network post-release. Two of the game’s all new modes are Dance Off and Club Mode. Dance Off has players taking turns to play against each other rather than playing head-to-head. The Club Mode has players songs one after the other – from four to twenty songs in a row. Obviously, you’ll need some stamina for this.

Dance Dance Revolution also offers players a new difficulty mode: Challenge Level. This not only has players stepping to up, down, left, and right – but to four diagonal arrows, as well.

Like its predecessors, it’ll also include a Workout mode for those who want to stay fit and keep track of their calories.

Dance Dance Revolution is out on PlayStation 3 this fall. Check out the first screenshots at the gallery.
