Konami’s announced recently on their official Facebook that Dance Dance Revolution, their hit arrow-stomping dancing game, is a shoe-in for PlayStation 3. Details are currently scarce, but more details are to come on August 12, where they’re throwing a “launch party” for the game.

“Yes, DanceDanceRevolution fans, it’s true—we’re bringing DDR to the PS3! And we’re bringing YOU to the launch party,” Konami wrote on their Facebook wall. “Thursday evening, August 12, in LA. Join us in person, on Twitter, or on Facebook for exclusive, interactive, fan-friendly, multiplayer Music & Motion fun. Stay tuned for more exciting details.”
