CyberConnect2 answers .hack PS3 questions
by [@salromano] at 09:47 PM EDT, August 22, 2010 .

CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama has responded to fans questions regarding whether or not a .hack game is on the way to PlayStation 3.

During a Famitsu.com blog entry where Matsuyama answered fan questions, one fan asked the question: “Do you have plans to make the next game after .hack? If possible, I want it on PS3!!!” Matsuyama responded: “Do you mean a .hack sequel? Or do you mean the next original title to follow .hack? We’re of course making new titles. PS3 titles too.”

Matsuyama also revealed that details on the franchise’s next anime series, .hack//Quantum, will arrive shortly. No specific date, though.

Thanks, Andriasang.

OMFG I would love a .Hack game on the PS3. I’ve always loved them even if they weren’t the highest rated games out there. Hope this happens :D

I always enjoyed .hack on the ps2, the online but not online theme of the game was unique and i liked it. But wat really would blow me away if it actually got some type of online feature.

If Persona, .Hack, and those 3 Tales come out plus Versus 13 on the PS3 I’ll probably have a heart attack

    • don’t forget parasite eve and valkyrie profile hrist. PS3 will be JRPG king if this all happens.

If just one localised Tales game comes out on PS3, that would be brilliant. Brilliant.
