Sony’s online video service Crackle will be making its way to the PlayStation Network, according to a New York Times report. The service is known for its free movie streams, original series, and other unique content.
There are over fifty million PlayStation Network accounts registered worldwide, so bringing Crackle to PlayStation Network “offers a great deal of scale that is terrific from an advertiser perspective,” said Eric Berger, Sony Pictures Television’s senior vice president for digital networks.
Notable movies and television shows currently available free on the service include High School High, Ultraviolet, Astroboy, Jackie Chan Adventures, and The Three Stooges.
There’s no word on exactly when Crack should hit the PlayStation Network, but whenever Sony provides us that update, we’ll be sure to have it here.

About time. I remember when the site was called something else (can’t think of it right now) and Sony promising features like uploading videos like your high score or when you beat a final boss or something.
Anyway, I still think the XMB needs a little tweaking before they slap yet another icon onto the dashboard.
Hopefully when they do change the XMB it won’t be too drastic but it could definitely stand to be refreshed a bit.
Yeah, the XMB is starting to feel a bit cluttered.
It’s Grouper that you’re thinking of by the way (its former title).
