Brink gets new dev diary, Doom and Fallout pre-order goodies

Bethesda’s released a new developer diary for Brink today titled ‘The Dawn of SMART’. The new clip gives a behind-the-scenes look at Brink‘s innovative control system, known as Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain.

Alongside the release of the new video, Bethesda’s also announced digital pre-order goodies for the Spring 2011 shooter. Depending on where you pre-order, you’ll get one of four different digital packs. Check out the details in full below.

The DOOM Pack – Available at GameStop and GameStop.com

    Stating the obvious, this is a game, but the idea that everyone is lifting themselves up with one hand/arm is kind of silly but otherwise the concept is pretty cool.

    It’s also obvious that they were inspired by the (almost) go-anywhere design of Mirror’s Edge. The similarities are strong as I’m sure whatever skills someone’s picked up playing ME will translate well into Brink.
