Brink takes place in 2045 on the Ark, dubbed in the game as the eighth wonder of the world. The Ark is an “immense, artificial floating city” that’s used as the focus of the war surrounding Brink. The building, supposed to house five-thousand, instead houses fifty-thousand. People are running out of resources and a group of refugees have stepped up to fight the cause. Equally, a group of cop-like enforcers have also stepped up to stop them. Both of these groups think they’re performing good, there’s no ‘one group claiming their evil’ in Brink.
