Amazon France lists Splinter Cell Trilogy for PS3 [Update]

Update: Looks like there’s a listing for a Prince of Persia Trilogy, as well. Kicking up those HD classics, eh?

Original: Ubisoft is preparing some sort of Splinter Cell Trilogy for PlayStation 3, if a new listing by Amazon France is to be believed. The site’s listing the game for a November 2 release – in France, at least – for EUR 39.95, which is around $60 USD.

As to what this could be, perhaps it’s the PS2 Splinter Cell games buffed up in HD? Perhaps Ubisoft is preparing for a Splinter Cell: Conviction PS3 release by pulling off a God of War Collection-like maneuver beforehand?

We’ll see in time. I’ll shoot an e-mail over to Ubi on this, to see what they have to say about it.
