Microsoft is giving gamers the chance to have a say in what happens in Gears of War 3. Clayton Carmine, brother of Anthony and Ben Carmine, will be introduced in Gears of War 3 and like his brothers, has a high risk of dying an early death. However, Microsoft is giving you the chance to prevent his death from happening… or to make sure it happens.
Starting July 29, Microsoft will release two new downloadable t-shirts for your Xbox LIVE avatars – one with “Save Carmine” on it and the other with “Carmine Must Die.” Purchasing either of these shirts counts a vote for either saving or killing off Carmine.
If you’re attending Comic-Con in San Diego this week, you’ll be able to count your vote by purchasing a real-life version of these shirts for $20, each. You’ll also get a chance to play Gears 3‘s “Beast Mode”. Design director, Cliff Bleszinski, and executive producer, Rod Fergusson, will be there signing posters, as well.

It would be nice to see Carmine live, specially if GOW3 is the ‘finale’ of the series like stated somewhere (i think)
