Halo: Reach sees the return of Blood Gulch

Today is Bungie Day. If you’re unaware, Bungie Day happens every July 7 due to Bungie’s fascination with the number seven. This year, the Halo developer has released a new video of Rooster Teeth’s Red vs. Blue that takes place in the new Blood Gulch map of Halo: Reach.
The team basically gives a tour of what’s new with Reach‘s version of Blood Gulch. That includes teleporters, caves that they seem to like a lot, armor, and holographic duplicates that become self aware after a while. Poor holograms.
The whole thing is a good five minutes. As you’d expect, it’s a funny watch, so go ahead and laugh.

Halo was a good series. But i’m already tired of it. Enough Halo. Enough “everything the same again” games please. Bungie is a great studio, i hope they’ll use their talents to create something fresh.
Altough I am careful to state my opinion in fear of starting unwanted negative debate, I will say that I agree in principle with what your saying.
Halo is a great series but it feels, to me at least, like it has already shown us all it can. Bungie are sure to have plenty of new ideas that would never see fruition if they only stuck to the Halo mould.
That said I do think Reach looks a good game, if a little…to quote the video titles, “Deja Vu”.
Now they introducing alot of new stuff…like modern warfare 1 did for cod. This will be last game that they have before people will get tired of halo. IMO it’s still the best multiplayer out there and will continue that way.
It is the only game That I can play for over two months and not get bored. Except from gears of war 1. Sure uncharted, metal gear, mass effect and red dead were great but the multiplayer is either not there or lacking and extremely boring after a week.
