Deus Ex: Human Revolution being developed simultaneously on all platforms
by [@salromano] at 09:54 AM EDT, July 13, 2010 .

Deus Ex: Human Revolution producer David Anfossi has said that their upcoming choice-based first-person shooter will be the same experience on all three platforms and that they’re working on each platform simultaneously rather than porting it from one platform to another.

“The experience will be the same on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The same mechanics – everything is the same,” Anfossi told VG247 during E3 last month when he was asked whether the game was being led on PC.

“For Deus Ex, we decided to work on all platforms in parallel to give players the same experience.”

Anfossi adds that he dislikes ports, himself.

“I used to work on previous games where we had lead platforms, and when we were close to the release date, we had to do a port.

“And believe me, you don’t want to do that.”

Deus Ex: Human Revolution launches in early 2011 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
