Mega Man creator and Capcom Head of R&D, Keiji Inafune, will be at the San Diego Comic-Con later this month to give us a new look at Dead Rising 2. Awesome. However, he will also be on deck to announce a new game that same day.

Inafune is scheduled to make the announcement on Thursday, July 22. The day schedule reads:

4:45-5:45 Capcom 2010 and Beyond!— See the latest trailers and get the inside scoop on all of Capcom’s most highly anticipated games for 2010 and beyond: Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Sengoku Basara, Okamiden, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Ghost Trick, Dead Rising 2, and more. On top of all that, hear details on an exciting new game announcement by Capcom legend Keiji Inafune, the father of Mega Man! Room 6BCF

Devil May Cry 5? Finally!? *twitch*

Lol, we all feel that pain Sal. They are getting to be like Square-Enix as of late, when it comes to announcements.

I’d go with a new downloadable title or something. I still think most JP studios are saving the big guns for TGS.
