EA and Spicy Horse Games has revealed the sequel to American McGee’s Alice today, announcing Alice: Madness Returns for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The action adventure title will launch in 2011.
In Alice: Madness Returns, players take on the role of Alice ten years after the events of the first game as she journeys through Wonderland to uncover the truth about her dark past and tortured mind. Spicy Horse promises to deliver “highly-detailed elaborate worlds, encounter a cast of off-beat characters and engage in epic battles with deadly weapons and sinister villains.”
“Alice is a classic fiction, infinitely rich with memorable characters, places and experiences. Our approach to Alice: Madness Returns takes this colorful world and reinvents it with psychotic personalities and pervasive insanity,” said American McGee, Spicy Horse Games Co-Founder and Senior Creative Director. “We can’t wait to share our vision with Alice in Wonderland fans and gamers around the world.”

Wow, this looks absolutely fantastic! I never played the original American McGee’s Alice but I watched a playthrough of it on YouTube, looks like a great game.
I’ll definately be picking this up, love the look of the screenshots and the teaser trailer was brilliant
