What’s up with these Xbox 360 box arts?

The cover art for two upcoming Square Enix Xbox 360 games feature a new branding at the top of the box, ditching the look we’ve come to know and love on our current Xbox 360 game cases.
Those two titles are Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. The boxes were spotted by the eagle-eyed Xbox Evolved.

Is Microsoft preparing a rebranding announcement for E3 to anticipate the launch of Natal this fall? We’re a week too short to tell.
What do you think of the new box redesign, if Microsoft pursues this with all future titles?
From our sponsors

Too much green.
Agreed.
Hmm, further fuel on the fire of a 360 redesign at E3?
Eek.
Not much of a redesign as much as it’s just adding more green and making the name of the console stick out even more than it already does.
It’s definitely not as dramatic a change as Sony did with the new PS3 cases. Sony got away from the Spiderman font in favor of a softer yet bigger font and all but ditched the word “Playstation” in favor of “PS”.
They stayed with the red and black but there’s definitely a distinct difference in the look of the PS brand based on when it was first launched to today. They even took the loud Japanese robot voiced “PLAYSTAY-SHON” and added the new Sony moniker “Make. Believe” at the end of all of their commercials (almost too much if you ask me).
This new box design for the 360 is none of those things. It’s just more (and too much) green. $10 bucks says they stick with the “Jump In” marketing phrase too especially with Natal being all about jumping and waving your arms like an idiot.
I don’t like it simply because it screws the look of the rest of the 360 covers just like it did with the PS3 titles.
