Watch Final Fantasy XIV shift from alpha to beta

A few weeks ago, screenshots of Final Fantasy XIV‘s beta version were released showing a significant improvement in visuals over the alpha version. Today, Square Enix released a video showing that same transition in motion.

The biggest difference is definitely the lighting system. It looks marvelous now.
